CAIRO- The lowest offer presented at an Egyptian state purchase tender for wheat on Wednesday was $210.86 per tonne for 60,000 tonnes of French wheat, traders said.

The offer was presented by Glencore.

Egypt's state grains buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC,) said on Tuesday it was seeking an unspecified quantity of wheat for shipment Nov. 21-30.

GASC bought 295,000 tonnes of Russian and Ukrainian wheat at its last purchase tender on Oct. 8.

GASC also amended its loading quantity for the Ukrainian port of Nikolaev to allow cargoes of 60,000 tonnes instead of 55,000 tonnes to be loaded, traders said.
