DUBAI - Egypt's state grain buyer (GASC) has bought 295,000 tonnes of Russian and Ukrainian wheat in an international purchasing tender, it said on Tuesday.

Of the total, GASC bought 180,000 tonnes of Russian wheat and 115,000 tonnes of Ukrainian wheat, GASC said.

Traders gave the following breakdown of the purchase in dollars per tonne:

-60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat from Grain Export at $204.72 free-on-board (FOB) and 15.70 freight equating to $220.42 cost and freight (C&F)

-60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat from Grain Export at $205.15 FOB and $15.70 freight equating to $220.85 C&F

-55,000 tonnes of Ukraine wheat from Hakan at $201.60 FOB and $20.55 freight equating to $222.15 C&F

-60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat from Posco at $206.50 FOB and $15.70 freight equating to $222.20 C&F

-60,000 tonnes of Ukraine wheat from Louis Dreyfus at $206.67 FOB and $15.94 freight equating to $222.61 C&F
