HAMBURG  - Algerian state agency ONAB is believed to have purchased an unknown volume of soymeal in a tender for up to 35,000 tonnes which closed on Wednesday, European traders said on Thursday.

The lowest price offered was said to be $376.25 a tonne c&f for soymeal from the United States or Argentine. Offers ranged up to $390 a tonne c&f, traders said.

Shipment was sought at the latest by March 15.
