HAMBURG  - Algerian state agency OAIC is believed to have purchased around 150,000 tonnes of animal feed barley to be sourced from optional origins in a tender for a nominal 50,000 tonnes which closed last week, European traders said on Thursday.

It was thought to have been purchased at around $214 to $216 a tonne c&f, according to trader assessments.

The tender had closed on Jan. 30 and shipment was sought between Feb. 16-29.
