Muscat: The Ministry of Education has issued a decision to postpone the new school academic year 2020/2021.
The ministry said in decision No 139/2020: "Postponing the beginning of the year 2020/2021 supervisors, administrators and teachers' working hours to Sunday August 30, 2020 in public and private schools."
The decision includes the working hours of educational supervisors and school administration supervisors in the educational directorates in the governorates, the General Directorate of Private Schools, members of the administrative and teaching staff, and the jobs associated with them in government schools, special education schools, and private schools that do not apply for the special school evaluation system.
