ArabFinance: National carrier EgyptAir partnered with the UAE’s Aster Hospitals to offer its passengers polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests for coronavirus at a special price, according to state news agency MENA.

The airline’s customers traveling from the UAE to Cairo, as well as other 35 destinations, can undergo the PCR test for AED 180.

The passengers can benefit from the service as long as they hold a valid EgyptAir flight ticket and passport, or a UAE ID.

The Egyptian government announced last August that four national airports would offer PCR tests.

Arrivals to Egypt have been required to provide a negative PCR test certificate for COVID-19 since the beginning of September.
