ArabFinance: Egypt’s health ministry announced 275 new COVID-19 cases, increasing the total count to 111,284 since the pandemic started last February, according to a November 17thstatement.

The ministry detected 16 additional fatalities, bringing the death toll to 6,481.

The new detections came higher than the 242 cases and the 12 deaths registered a day earlier.

Some 109 new patients were discharged from quarantine hospitals, which took the total recoveries to 101,288.

Egypt's daily COVID-19 cases have been above the 200 mark since November 4th.
