COVID-19: Egypt has 996 new cases, 677 recoveries

Reuters/Mohamed Abd El GhanyArabFinance: Egypt recorded 996 new coronavirus cases on January 13th, raising the total to 152,719.
The death toll reached 8,362 after detecting 58 new fatalities, the health ministry noted.
Some 677 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total recoveries to 120,312.
The total number of physicians who have died of the illness reached 309, the Medical Syndicate said.
