COVID-19: Egypt detects 1,566 new infections

ArabFinance: The Ministry of Health and Population announced 1,566 new COVID-19 cases in Egypt, putting the infection tally at 66,754 since the outbreak of the virus, according to a June 29th statement.

In addition, 83 death cases were reported, taking the toll to 2,872.

The ministry registered 412 new patients who left quarantine and isolation hospitals. Egypt currently has a total of 17,951 recoveries.

The country’s highest number of daily infections was 1,774 on June 14th.
