Saudi Arabia will extend until July 31, 2021 the validity of residency permits, exit and re-entry visas, and visit visas of expatriates stranded abroad due to the COVID-19 travel ban imposed on certain countries.

State-run Saudi Press Agency said the General Directorate of Passports will automatically extend the documents free of charge.

The extension will apply to residents and visa holders who are in the 20 countries from which entry was suspended due the pandemic.
