rabFinance: Egypt will not reintroduce a full or partial lockdown in case of a second wave of coronavirus, Health and Population Minister Hala Zayed said in an October 13th TV statement.

Countries should not resort to such a strategy the way they did during the first wave, but should rather respond to surges in cases within clusters or specific areas, she added during the 67th session of the World Health Organisation Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean.

"This is the lesson we learned from the first wave," she highlighted.
