Sudatel Telecom Group has announced the launch of 4G services in the Mauritanian capital as well as six other regions.

The services are being launched through Sudatel’s operator Chinguitel in Nouakchott, and six other state capitals in Mauritania.

Eng Hani Arabi Karrar, managing director of Chinguitel, said the company will continue to expand the 4G network to cover all other regions, as well as other new services targeting consumers and business segments in the northwestern African country.

Sudatel launched 4G services in Senegal earlier this year.
