Raya Restaurants, a subsidiary of Raya Holding for Financial Investments, has announced the signing of the master franchise agreement in the Egyptian market with the Lebanese restaurant Loris.

The new branch of Loris restaurant in Cairo is the first outside Beirut. The prominent Lebanese restaurant opened its main headquarters in 2015.

This comes within the framework of Raya Restaurants’ strategy to expand its brand portfolio in the food service sector, with a total investment of EGP 50m over the next five years, in order to enhance its commercial activity in Egypt.

Karim Khalifa, CEO of Raya Restaurants, said the company aims to offer a variety of services and experiences to customers.

Commenting on the cooperation, Jean-Marie Riachi, founder of Loris Restaurant and music producer, said that Raya Group is a strategic partner of Loris, as it provides a professional team to manage and develop the brand throughout Egypt, not only in Cairo.
