Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, is operating more services to major destinations, connecting Muscat with 25 cities around the world.
The additional services will increase flight frequency between Oman and major destinations, including Dubai, Doha and London.
The Muscat-based airline had earlier scheduled the resumption of international flights in October, after a six-month break due to the health outbreak.
In a statement on Tuesday, the carrier said services connecting Muscat and Dubai will increase from three to five flights per week, while trips to London will go up from two to three flights weekly. Flights on the Muscat to Doha route will go up from two to four times weekly.
Services to Mumbai, Cairo, Kochi, Delhi, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Lahore and Chennai will also increase.
The carrier assured it will continue to observe safety protocols. All cabin crew members will keep wearing a full set of personal protective equipment and meal services have been modified to curb the spread of COVID-19 infections aboard the flights.
