Cairo: Dakahlia Governorate has announced its start in implementing project to develop sanitary system with a $550 million loan which is obtained from World Bank.

The project will serve about 155 villages in Dakahlia, Sharqia, and Beheira governorates, Dakahlia Potable Water and Sanitary Drainage Company’s chairman said.

This project also is set to serve 833,000 persons through establishing 167,000 sewage links to houses, the chairman added.

The official further indicated that carrying out the project will be focused in Mit Ghamr, El Senbellawein, Aga, El Manzala, and Dekernes regions.
