Cairo –   The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) signed a contract with Madkour Group to establish El-Dabaa substation at a value of EGP 303 million.

The 220/66/22 kilovolt (kv) project will support the national electricity grid in the North Coast, replacing the current temporary substation, EETC’s chairman Sabah Mashaly said in a statement on Monday.

The substation, which will be financed from EETC’s resources, will be established over a period of 12 months from the date of signing the deal.
