China approves new high speed rail project worth $19.89bln

The new line will run from a city in China's southwest to the capital of Yunnan province

BEIJING, Sept 11 (Reuters) - China's state planner approved a new high-speed rail project in China's southwest worth 141.62 billion yuan ($19.89 billion dollars) on Wednesday.

The new line will run from Chongqing, a city in China's southwest, to Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province.
