Oman’s Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) intends to award consultancy services contract for preparing a Design-Build guide for infrastructure and buildings facilities at Madayn’s industrial cities in the first quarter of 2023.

“The tender was issued on 18 November 2022 and the bid the submission was on 3 January 2023. The main contract bids are currently under evaluation with the contract award expected by end of February 2023,” a source aware of the project details told Zawya Projects.

The commercial bidders list includes Ibrahim Jaidah Architect and Engineers ($857,200), AAW Consulting Engineers & Partners ($150,000), Alamur Engineering Consultant ($2.2 million), EHAF Consulting Engineers ($414,000), and AZD Engineering Consultancy ($691,000), according to officials from three companies.

The technical bidders comprised of Ibrahim Jaidah Architect and Engineers, Renardet SA & Partners, Consulting Engineers, Universal Consulting Engineering (Oman), Al Abraj Consulting Engineers & Architects, Muscat Design Centre & Partners, Razeen Engineering Consultancy, EHAF Consulting Engineers, Alamur Engineering Consultant, AAW Consulting Engineers & Partners, and AZD Engineering Consultancy), according to officials from five companies.

The source said the scope of the contract includes preparation of Design and Build guide for development of infrastructure and buildings facilities and providing the standards and specifications to improve functionality

He added the project is scheduled for completion by end of 2025.
