Jeddah - Vision Electro Mechanical Company (Vision), a subsidiary of Construction Products Holding Company (CPC), took the first steps to expand regionally when it entered into a partnership agreement with MIMAR of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to open two branches in Abu Dhabi and Qatar.
The move comes on the heels of the company's successful execution of a number of major projects in Saudi Arabia, such as the implementation of electrical and mechanical works in Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University for Girls in Riyadh, and the automated passenger system in the University; as well as the completion of the central air-conditioning and power station at the Eastern Haj terminals at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah within eight months, among other notable projects.
On this occasion, Dr. Faysal Alaquil, Director of Business Development and Administrative Affairs of CPC, said: "We at CPC, are very proud that one of our subsidiaries, VISION, managed in a short period to achieve such remarkable achievements through the execution of a number of major projects in Saudi Arabia at the highest levels, which qualifies it to expand regionally".
Commenting on the expansion steps, Eng. Hassan Chahine, the Executive Director of Vision, added: "Under the directions of the Governments of Abu Dhabi and Qatar to build various mega projects during the coming period, we felt that the door is open for VISION to participate strongly in these projects in view of its expertise with 5,000 highly trained engineers, technicians and workers, supported by a distinguished business record of projects executed in Saudi Arabia. "
