Doha, Qatar: High performance controls represent a key component of an efficient chiller plant in district cooling. District cooling, which uses centralized units to distribute chilled water to multiple buildings, offers a sustainable, efficient, economical alternative to traditional cooling methods.

Johann Samuelsson, vice president in the Middle East and Africa regions for Trane, a leading global provider of indoor comfort systems and solutions and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, will address how controls can improve plant efficiency at the upcoming District Cooling Qatar Summit 2012.

Samuelsson will provide insights to optimal chiller plant design, and the role that 'controls' play in relation to design, energy reduction and systems operation.
