Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 15 March, 2011 - Spanish company Cadagua, subsidiary of Ferrovial Agroman and recognised specialist for the provision of engineering and construction services in desalination plants, has chosen online project collaboration platform, think project!, for a plant construction project in Ajman. think project! enables all project participants to work on a central platform to securely access and exchange information and documents at any time and from any place.

Awarded a contract estimated at US$55 million to construct a seawater desalination plant in Ajman by the Federal Electricty and Water Authority (FEWA) of the United Arab Emirates, Cadagua - in a consortium with Ajman-based Essa Engineering & Marine Works LLC (Essa) - will be responsible for the design, manufacture, supply, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the reverse osmosis plant.

Cadagua and Essa use think project! to connect their project partners and organise the entire range of communication and documentation processes along with consulting ILF and ultimately with the client FEWA on a single platform.

'The Ajman seawater desalination plant is our third project in the Middle East. In order to manage all documents and communication processes with our project partners in a structured manner on a central platform, we turned to an online project collaboration system. think project! particularly appealed to us because it has a high degree of flexibility - and think project! consultants are available to support us at our company headquarters in Spain, as well as onsite in Ajman,' said Gonzalo Pedraz, Head of Contract Engineering Department at Cadagua.

Jochen Maurer, Managing Director of think project! Middle East said 'The construction of a desalination plant to provide clean drinking water is very important for this region. We are very glad to assist the involved parties in managing this impressive and challenging project. The flexibility of think project! enables us to translate our clients' communication and documentation processes into an intuitive map within our platform - as we've done in this project. We have also been able to offer our experience and learnings from other plant construction projects in the US, Qatar and India.'

think project! was recently selected for a Sewage Treatment Plant project by Cadagua in the Sultanate of Oman.
