Abu Dhabi: The Galleria Al Maryah Island has launched As’Haal Park, a ticketless paid parking system that offers up to four hours of free parking for guests during weekdays and free parking on weekends and public holidays. People of determination receive all day free parking. Using the latest innovations in digital technology, As’Haal Park– meaning ‘easy’ in Arabic, aims to create a hassle-free and safe experience for guests using a ticketless and contactless system.

An industry standard common across shopping malls located in urban or commercial areas in the UAE, paid parking schemes ensure that car park spaces are prioritised for visiting guests. A generous allocation of up to four hours of free parking during the week provides time for guests to enjoy their time at the mall, with fees thereafter depending on the total duration of stay.

Using advanced number plate recognition technology, a camera will automatically scan and register the details of the guest’s vehicle upon entry to any of The Galleria’s car parks. No tickets or coins are issued, eliminating any incidents of lost or misplaced tickets. Payment, if required, is also contactless and can be performed directly from their mobiles by conveniently scanning QR Codes in the car park lobbies. Alternatively, payment can be made at various Automated Payment Machines using cash or card.

Another benefit of As’Haal Parks digital technology and number plate recognition is that it enables a ‘Find My Car’ feature, which will help guests locate their car with ease.

Commenting on the introduction of As’Haal Park, David Robinson, General Manger, The Galleria Al Maryah Island, said: “The Galleria Al Maryah Island’s priority has always been to deliver the best experiences for our guests, and access to convenient parking is integral to the overall journey. Using advanced digital car park technologies, As’Haal Park is an innovative system that is completely ticketless and contactless, providing a safe and convenient solution. With a generous allocation of free parking during the week, and the continuation of free weekends and public holidays, As’Haal Park will be a seamless part of the guest experience.”
