Khalifa Fund enables 10 national projects to transform to franchise
Dubai - H.E. Abdullah Saeed Al Darmaki the CEO of Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development revealed that 10 of the supported projects funded and supported by Khalifa Fund have been able to convert their projects to the franchise.
On the sidelines of the exhibition and the Middle East Forum of the Franchise rights "franchise" which is organized by the Middle East and North Africa Society of the franchise rights (benefits) in Dubai yesterday, Al Darmaki said; "Khalifa Fund adopted number of projects of value-added creative and innovative ideas and provided them with full support by specialized partner to be transferred to franchise. What distinguishes these projects are ideas, products and services are completely Emirati"
"Khalifa Fund was launched in 2013 a program to support special projects to enable them to internal and external expansion through preparing them to get the franchise requirements and enable them to expand as a brand outside UAE", explained Al Darmaki.
"This step is the first step to put these projects on the road of development and progress and going global, expressing his pride in such projects and calling on young people to adopt creative and innovative ideas when seeking to establish their projects", added Al Darmaki.
"Khalifa Fund provided an umbrella for the participation of eight of its projects in the exhibition of Middle East Forum of the franchise rights "franchise" which concluded today in Dubai. The exhibition and the conference form a chance for a number of funded and supported projects to understand how to convert their projects and the ways to franchise marketed regionally and globally", explained Al Darmaki.
"Khalifa Fund has over the past years funded a number of distinguished projects to enter the regional and local markets to compete strongly in terms of product quality or in terms of prices. The Fund's participation comes within the framework of its keenness to support free trade, to support the culture of entrepreneurship and to encourage young Emiratis to establish private projects through the franchise", added Al Darmaki.
"The Fund will support any project that franchise value-added in line with the Fund directions and sectors that seeks to promote and fund. We encourage young Emiratis to work and seek to take advantage of unique investment environment in the United Arab Emirates to establish their own businesses", said Al Darmaki.
The Fund displayed in the exhibition 11 of the funded projects which has high quality services and characteristically. The participated projects are Beesket for Saeed Al Marri & Ahmed Al Muhairi, Cremolata for Abdel Rahman Al Tuniji, CoCo Jalila for Najah Al Muntaqem, Red Star Bistro Restaurant for Tariq Al Jaberi, Liwa Dates for Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Diet & Lite for Adel Al Sharji, Bedashing Beauty Langue for Noor Al Tamimi, Wanasa Land for Saif Al Dhaheri, Burger hood for Hashim Al Hashemi, Flex & Northen for Swiden Al Kendi, and Heritage for Henna for Fatheya Ahmed.
Ahmed Al Hashemi Sr. Manager in Khalifa Fund, Ajman Branch made a comprehensive presentation about the services and programs offered by Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development for its members whether financial or non-financial services since the establishment of their projects.
Saer Emad, a manager in Enterprise Development & Support Dept. made a presentation at the conference about the importance of franchising and Khalifa Fund's efforts to promote this approach in order to serve the national economy.
During the event, Fatheya Ahmed the owner of Heritage for Henna was awarded with "The Franchise Woman of the Year". While Saif Al Dhaheri the owner of Wanasa Land was awarded "Best UAE Emerging Brand".
