Shapoorji Pallonji International (SPINT) commences construction at the 1.48 million square feet Green Community Project (Phase III)
Shapoorji Pallonji International (SPINT) has commenced work on the third phase of the Green Community development, in Dubai Investments Park. The project, which is being developed by Union Properties and designed by Dewan Architects and Engineers, is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2017.
The Green Community, which is already home to 1,555 units, will add a further 210 residential villas, 16 duplex apartments, and a retail space bringing the total number of units to 1765. The third phase will also include two community centres, a large swimming pool and a retail building in order to service the community.
Speaking during a press conference at the stone laying ceremony on Monday, Ahmed Al Marri, general manager of Union Properties, said; "We focus on our strategic framework to choose reliable partners that share the same values as ours in order to ensure projects are delivered to high quality standards. We have selected Shapoorji Pallonji due to their expertise in the real estate business, and especially their experience in building the residential communities, so we rest assured that the project will greatly benefit from their expertise and it will contribute to strengthen the confidence of both investors and end-users."
SPINT's chief executive officer and managing director, M.D. Saini on the occasion stated that, "We are honored to associate with Union Properties as a construction partner for the third phase of this development.
