President Paul Kagame of the Republic of Rwanda received today Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani at his residence on the sidelines of the 58th Munich Security Conference.

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the Rwandan President, and His Highness' wishes for the Rwandan people to achieve further progress and prosperity.For his part, the Rwandan President conveyed his greetings to His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, wishing His Highness good health and happiness, and the Qatari people continued progress, development and prosperity.

During the meeting, bilateral cooperation relations were reviewed, and security issues in the region were discussed, in addition to exchanging views on issues of common interest.
