Famous repertoire of award winning illusionists to perform breathtaking tricks
Sharjah: Qanat Al Qasba, the premier family, leisure and entertainment destination of the region will bring together a unique performance with the Illusion Show on July 5, 6 and 7. The show which is expected to thrill the audience irrespective of age, thanks to multifaceted, internationally acclaimed performers, is the first of its kind to be presented in the UAE.

This show, which is certain to leave the audience spellbound thanks to the amazing antics of the performers as well as some unprecedented lighting and stage effects, reaffirms our position as the leading family and entertainment destination of the region. The Illusion Show will be presented at Masrah Al Qasba on 5th and 7th July at 11:00 am and 7:30 p.m and on the 6th of July the show will start at 7:30 p.m.
"The Illusion Show displays some marvelous sleight of hand by famed award winning international performers who combine magic, juggling and illusion to create a spectacle of visual illusions that turns the whole show into an unparallel artistry unlike any other," she added.
The show will bring forth International award winning Argentinean illusionist, Gaston Quieto who features amazing effects of mixing manipulation, levitation tricks, appearances and transpositions. What makes his shows double fun is the audience participation factor which leaves little doubt of his mastery to entertain. Quieto is one of the few magicians in the world who has excelled in all aspects of magic and has entertained heads of state and celebrities world wide elevating him into one of the most prestigious lecturers and creators in the professional magic circuit.
While the Gaston Quieto show is bound to leave audience spellbound, the antics of Sylvester the Jester is sure to release some rib cracking laughter. With madcap, stage persona "Sylvester the Jester a Real Live Cartoon", Dan Sylvester, it is more than clowning around. Sylvester the Jester beats all the laws that govern three dimensional reality, to bring about a hilarious, animated character with the unique knack for transporting himself and his audience into a surreal space and time where the absurd becomes wonderfully common place.
To cool off the hot UAE summer, two of Amsterdam's native sons, Jan van Kammen and Jasper van Luit will bring in the combination of magic, juggling and illusion to create a spectacle of sand, surf and visual illusions. Wet Illusions, their recent production based on these themes, was a great success during the 2003 World Convention of Magic and at the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas. Since then, Magic Wave has found a worldwide audience ready to soak in the rays, turn up the tunes, and lose themselves in an up-tempo fantasy of good vibrations.
Another award winning entertainer Steve Marshall will also perform at the show. Some of Marshall's performance credits around the world.
Audience can also enjoy Feeding the Fish's 'Flux' - a breathtaking spectacle of choreographed colour where highly technical juggling is fused with dance and cutting edge technology. This completely unique double-act has been performed in 27 countries around the world. Beautiful patterns of light are traced through the air during the high-impact stage show as the balls and clubs change colour in perfect synchronisation with the upbeat musical soundtrack. The props are programmed precisely to create a fantastic variety of colourful shapes and laser beams as they are thrown and manipulated by the accomplished jugglers.
And magic is never complete without birds. Argentinian Senko and his feathered friends will woo their audience with their Dove Act, a fast paced show performed to music, using doves and birds which appear, disappear, and even change color. This act leaves audiences spellbound, and has helped to earn Senko many awards.
