HRH Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company received at his office in Riyadh Mr. Walter P.S. Kwok Chairman of Sun Hung Kai Properties LTD. the second richest man in Hong Kong and an accompanying delegation.
During the meeting Mr. Kwok and Prince Alwaleed discussed investment and economic issues and referred to Hong Kong's strong economy. Also on the agenda of discussions were Hong Kong's open market economy and efforts made in Hong Kong to attract foreign investors. Moreover, the two discussed Prince Alwaleed's local, regional and international investments especially in South East Asia.
After the office meeting, HRH hosted a dinner in honor of his guest at Kingdom Resort. In conclusion to the memorable evening HRH and Mr. Kwok exchanged gifts. Mr. Kwok and the delegation thanked the Prince for his warm welcome and hospitality.
The accompanying delegation included, Ir Alkin Kwong, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive of Hong Yip Holding, Dicky Y. D. Leung, Project Director, Sun Hung Kai Development (China), Keven T.Y Chan, Deputy Vice President, Operation Hotel Division, Sun Hung Kai Properties, Sun Hung Real Estate Agency, Ou Bing Chang, Chairman of Yue Xiu Enterprises (Holding) and Richard W. C. Kan, Managing Director, In Yam Development Limited.
Recently, HRH received the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Mr. Donald Yam Kuen Tsang at Kingdom Resort in Riyadh. Prince Alwaleed had visited Hong Kong in April of 2007. During the Hong Kong trip the Prince and an accompanying delegation from KHC toured the locations of some of KHC's investments that included the Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong, the headquarters of Citibank for a briefing, and Disneyland Hong Kong where Prince Alwaleed and delegation took a tour of Disney's two Hotels.
