Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), one of the world's largest aluminium smelters on a single site, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ali Aseeri as the Acting Manager of Engineering & Projects, effective immediately.

Ali brings over two decades of engineering expertise to this role. He started his career in Alba’s Engineering Department in 2005, following which he helb capacity enhancement projects such as Line 6 and Line 4 Anode Enlargement Projects and Upgrades of Gas Treatment Centres 1 through 4.

Commenting on this appointment, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer, Ali Al Baqali, stated:

Ali holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Arabian Gulf University as well as a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI)

Launched in June 2025, EternAl offers two product series with multiple variations to meet diverse customer needs: one featuring recycled content, and the other integrating verified in-house carbon offsets.
