Dubai, UAE: The nominations process has kicked off for this year’s The Maritime Standard Awards - taking place on Monday 22nd November 2021 at the Dubai World Trade Centre - and it has got off to a flying start. Chair of judges, Clive Woodbridge, says, “The number of nominations we have received to date is much higher than at this time last year. It seems that people are looking forward to getting back to face to face and can’t wait to be a part of this event in person. We are pleased with the enormous amount of support we have received so far, which underlines the fact that these awards are the most supported of any maritime awards anywhere in the world.”

Nominations close on the 24th August 2021 and details of the categories and how to enter can be found on the website, www.tmsawards.com.

A high class judging panel has been assembled for this year’s TMS Awards. As well as TMS editor, Clive Woodbridge, the judges are: Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Group CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports; Abdulla Bin Damithan, CEO and Managing Director, DP World UAE Region; Capt. Abdulkareem Al Masabi, CEO, ADNOC Logistics and Services; Dr Ibrahim Al Nadhairi, CEO of ASYAD Shipping and Drydock Services; Mrs H.K. Joshi, Chairperson and Managing Director of The Shipping Corporation of India; Eng.
