Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Lenovo has once again extended its lead in the UAE x86 server market, with the latest market analysis from IDC showing vendor holding 30.2% share by revenue.
The IDC Quarterly Server Tracker for Q4 FY2020-2021 shows Lenovo leading the market, having increased its share of the segment from 28.5% in Q2. Lenovo has now held the top position in the UAE x86 market for three consecutive quarters.
Lenovo’s continued strong performance in the x86 server sector is due to the company’s breadth of portfolio which means it is able to deliver end-to-end solutions to meet the needs of customers, according to Dr Chris Cooper, Director and General Manager, Lenovo Data Centre Group MEA.
“Whether organizations require Edge-to-Core or Edge-to-Cloud infrastructure, Lenovo is able to provide flexible, reliable, high-performance solutions that are software-agnostic, in line with the digital transformation project requirements of our customers,” said Dr Cooper.
“Our growth is also inline with the trend of increasing volumes of enterprise data to be created and processed outside of the traditional data center or cloud, which is driving demand for Edge server systems to provide the flexibility that emerging computing models demand,” he added.
