Established in 1909, KDK Company was founded under the name "Kawakita Denki Kigyosha", an electrical engineering company. KDK is one of the world's leading manufacturers of superb-quality and high-performance fan products. In 1913 KDK produced the first alternate Electric fan (E-Fan) in Japan. Since 1918 KDK E-Fans were exported to Asia, Middle East, Latin America, and became the most famous top brand while establishing its trademark .Today, the key product category manufactured by KDK is Ventilating Fans. Other products are Range Hoods, Air Curtains, Hand Dryers, Ceiling Fans, E-Fans and Air Moving Equipments. Year 2014 marked the 105th year of successful existence and coping up with demands for a better quality life for KDK.
With a vision to offer the most promising air quality products, KDK conceptualized ERV. It is a slim design device which reduces energy loss during ventilation by exchanging temperature and humidity between indoor and outdoor air. ERV is a highly efficient eco-friendly product which provides 24 hour ventilation by filtering the outdoor air and circulating it in the entire house. The device can be installed onto the ceiling, facilitating easy maintenance from the bottom and the side.
ERV allows speedy exhaust of polluted air and maintains comfortable temperature in all seasons. It also decreases the cooling and heating load of air conditioners thereby making it a cost efficient innovation.
