Amman, 26 August, 2008: Jordan Ahli Bank has recently sponsored a training course on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), delivered by the Transformations Learning Center (TLC) in cooperation with New Oceans from the UK.

Along many other participants from the banking industry and the public sector, employees of Ahli Bank took part in the NLP training course, which was held between 10- 14 August.

"We constantly look for ways to develop and sharpen the skills of our staff. We chose to support this training initiative because it is indeed a valuable choice for those who are serious about raising quality standards in service," Mr. Saad Mouasher, Head of Group Strategy and Corporate Communications, said.

"Our sponsorship was driven partly because we believe that customer service needs to improve across our sector and generally across Jordan, and also because we believe that by empowering individuals to solve issues we can develop their overall performance and communication abilities," Mouasher added.

For her part, Mrs. Abeer Kabariti Bilbeisi, Director of Transformations Learning Center (TLC), said: "we appreciate the support of Jordan Ahli Bank's management and their belief in our mission as they immediately responded to our call for sponsorship. We hope that this fruitful cooperation with such a leading financial institution will be a good start for joint work in the future."

According to Dr. Aghadeer Jweihan, Middle East & Gulf Consultant for TLC, NLP is a new science to Jordan that enhances the creativity of individuals and provides them with the skills they need when tackling a difficult situation as well as being able to model excellence.
