New Manager to Expand Channel Partner Network by 36%

Dubai, UAE, -  February 13, 2012 - Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, today announced details of its growth plans for the Middle East during  Infor10 On the Road held today at the Madinat Jumeirah Hotel in Dubai. Infor plans to increase the number of channel partners by 36% in 2012 focusing on new partners across the Middle East to sell to manufacturing and other asset intensive industries. To drive this growth Infor has appointed a new channel partner manager for the MEA region.

News

  • Mike Hibbert was named the new channel partner manager for the MEA region. His mission is to drive the recruitment of new partners, grow software license sales across the region, and recruit more sales staff in its Dubai Internet City office.

  • Sales efforts will be focused on existing key growth areas including hospitals and complex project-based manufacturing industries, including refrigeration, air conditioning and water systems. Infor will also target the utilities and public sector & government sectors.

  • New partners will be recruited to sell Infor's enterprise resource planning (ERP) and enterprise asset management (EAM) solutions across the region.

  • The all-day event, which was sponsored by Infor channel partners Intertec Systems (EAM) and SPAN (SCM), enabled Infor executives to outline Infor's new corporate strategy and latest product developments in the Infor10 release.
