HP offers creative inhouse printing solutions up to A1

April 28, 2003 – Dubai, UAE HP today introduced the HP Designjet 120, the ideal printing system for designers and demanding users who want the flexibility of printing standard and large-format projects in-house with the look and feel of professional print-outs. Whether it’s a post card or a poster, this printer allows creative professionals to focus on their work, without having to worry about the technical printing process. The HP Designjet 120 can print from A1 up to A6 size documents.

“Companies in the Middle East are realizing the incredible impact of on-demand, targeted marketing,” said Thomas Valdjak, Category Manager, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Middle East. “By providing solutions such as the HP Designjet 120, marketing and design professionals don’t need to worry about the hassle of outsourcing projects, as they can print directly from their desks.  Instead, they can concentrate on innovative campaigns to make the most of their marketing budgets.”

The HP Designjet 120 is an affordable system that bridges the gap between desktop and oversize printing with the combination of a standard media tray and a 52.8cm paper path and an optional roll-feed and cutter. The automatic closed-loop colour calibration system also ensures consistent colour from print to print and printer to printer with 2400 dpi and HP’s colour layering technology. In addition to consistent, vibrant colour, the printing drivers are designed specifically for RGB workflows plus an optional Adobe RIP for CMYK colour matching and emulation.

The HP Designjet 120 supports industry standards, such as Adobe PDF, which provides a continuous, seamless workflow for Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign users.  The HP Designjet 120nr bundle offers networked printing and automatic roll-feed as standard.
