Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 23rd July, 2008: Hill International, the global leader in managing construction risk, announced today that its joint venture company, Hill TMG, has been awarded nine project management assignments from the Talaat Moustafa Group Holding Co. Hill TMG is a recently-created joint venture 50% owned by Hill International and 50% owned by TMG. The nine assignments have a combined estimated value to the Hill TMG joint venture of approximately $96.0 million.  

The nine projects, with a total construction value over $3.8 billion, are as follows:

  • The Madinaty Open Air Mall project in Cairo, Egypt includes a total of about 1.3 million square feet of retail space encompassing a central park area that consists of 10 separate buildings. The Entryway will be the grand entrance into Madinaty, including monumental buildings and imaginative water features.

  • The Madinaty Four Seasons Golf Resort in Cairo, Egypt will include 180 rooms.

  • The Luxor Four Seasons Hotel in Luxor, Egypt will have 250 rooms and 100 villas within the ancient city and is in close proximity to the Luxor Temple. It will face the Nile River, with viewable access from the balconies.

  • The Madinaty 45-Hole Golf Course in Cairo, Egypt will be a state-of-the-art golf course, unlike any in Egypt.

  • The Sharm El Sheikh Four Seasons Hotel expansion in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt will double the number of hotel rooms and add 50 villas, as well as an 18-hole golf course, to this world-class hotel, which is known to many visitors of Egypt's Red Sea tourist region.

  • The Nile Hotel in Cairo, Egypt includes major structural alterations and a full renovation of this 11-floor, 221-room hotel.

  • The Marsa Allam Resort in Marsa Allam, Egypt is located on 3.2 million square meters (34.4 million square feet) of land, and will include a golf course, lagoons/lakes, extensive water features with landscaping, five separate hotels with 750 rooms, about 1.9-million square feet of villas and chalets, a club house, a spa, and staff accommodations.

  • The TMG Offices and Hotel in Cairo, Egypt will dedicate 15 office floors to TMG's corporate headquarters. There will be 10 levels of hotel guest rooms, with a 10-story atrium, above the hotel amenity floor. The hotel's club floor will be located above the atrium on the 28th floor. The 29th and 30th floors will serve as TMG's executive offices with designated meeting room facilities, executive office suites, and the CEO's office.

  • The Nessamat El Rihab residential development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia includes a land area of 2.93 million square meters (31.5 million square feet) and will include 2,283 villas and 1,998 apartments. It also includes commercial areas and a mall, as well as other public facilities.
