• NBK is keen to reinforce its leading role in supporting the implementation of development projects, especially in the housing sector

National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) participated as a Platinum Sponsor of the 3rd Consulting Services for the Development Plan Forum (ENCON3). The forum is organized by NoufEXPO in collaboration with The Federation of Kuwaiti Engineering Offices & Consultant Houses (KFEOCH), with the participation of many public and private sector entities.

The forum discussed the plans of automation of permits and addressing the challenges facing construction plans and the impact of the shortage of manpower on the housing sector following the pandemic. It also discussed the shortage in building materials combined with high prices due to the prevailing difficulties in logistic services such as shipping and transportation, as a result of the geopolitical turbulence.

During the forum, Eng. Thamer Al-Mutairi, the Commissioned Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs for Municipal Affairs of the Capital and Jahra Governorates, presented an honorary shield to NBK, which was received by Talal Al-Turki, Senior Manager, Public Relations at National Bank of Kuwait, in recognition of the bank’s participation and sponsorship of the forum as well as its consistent support of the national economy.

NBK’s sponsorship comes in line with its CSR commitments and support of development plans, the national economy and the implementation of Kuwait Vision 2035, being a major contributor to the development of Kuwaiti society given its long record of initiatives in all fields.

On this occasion, Talal Al-Turki, Senior Manager, Public Relations at National Bank of Kuwait said: “We are always seeking to support the government’s strategic agenda by backing development plans, being an integral part of the national goals of Kuwait Vision 2035.”

“We are always working to drive growth by supporting the private sector to enhance economic diversification, in addition to supporting PPP projects, which provide more growth opportunities for the corporate as well as other sectors,” he added.

Al-Turki highlighted that NBK is keen to reinforce its leading role in supporting the implementation of development projects, including housing, being the top financier of all government, as well as the private sector development projects.
