'Partners in Success' initiative aimed at providing students with insight into the private sector workings through internships and hands-on training
Dubai, UAE, March 16, 2005: In a community development initiative, Epicor Scala in the Middle East, the regional arm of Epicor Software Corporation (NASDAQ: EPIC), a leading provider of integrated enterprise software solutions for the midmarket, today announced they have become one of Dubai Women's College (DWC) Partners for Success to assist the students of the College in gaining insight into the private sector workplace and helping them prepare for a career in this sector.
As a part of the College's Partner for Success program, Epicor Scala would provide work placement opportunities for DWC students assisting them in meeting their graduation requirements and providing valuable on-the-job training. In addition, Epicor Scala would also contribute by sharing insights as speakers in DWC forums, organize facility tours for students, participate in DWC events and other initiatives. Key representatives of Epicor Scala would also participate in the interview panels that help prepare the students of DWC for job interviews, contributing their expertise to enhance the ability of the students to keep up with the rapidly changing private sector business environment in the UAE.

At present, the UAE is witnessing a growing trend of the local Arab women getting involved with the vast and growing private sector, thus contributing to the overall development of the country.
