Pioneered by the clinic’s Founder and Oral Surgeon Dr David Roze, the Facebook Live DRA Talk Show is a monthly forum to host a discussion on different elements of dental treatment and oral hygiene. Patients can interact with the clinic’s highly qualified dentists as if they are in the surgery, using the video platform to receive care tips and follow-up advice.

Helping patients achieve a fully organic lifestyle, Specialist Paediatric Dentist Dr. Agnes Roze and the team of hygienists are working with guests who practice an organic oral hygiene routine, using products based on natural ingredients, colours and flavours.

The clinic now stocks a range of toothpastes that are cruelty-free and contain no artificial colours or flavouring. The products utilise the natural cleansing properties of herbs to mimic the function of traditional toothpaste. What’s more, their value isn’t limited to people who prefer organic products as a lifestyle choice: they’re for anyone who wishes to avoid exposure to fluoride and synthetic substances.

Micro dentistry uses microscope-based technology to examine problems in a tooth, such as a cavity. This allows for magnification up to 40 times, compared to six times when using a traditional loop. The high quality microscopic picture allows for ultra-precise work on each tooth, removing only what needs to be removed to retain as much healthy dental tissue as possible.

Dental lasers have allowed the team to reduce the need for antibiotics and prescription of anti-inflammatory drugs, ultimately speeding up the healing process in a more natural way.

Similarly, in-house surgical guide technology, which is also in use at DRA, allows the dentist to map surgery beforehand using CT scans of the patient’s bone. Surgery can now be performed using guide technology to remove the need for an incision, meaning no stitches and a quick healing time.

For those looking to improve on their existing smile, Dr Roze & Associates has introduced Trial Smile, a complimentary initiative offering patients the chance to test drive their dream smile before committing to any work.

The pain-free procedure starts with a mould of the existing teeth, which is used by the dentist to create the trial smile. Seven days later, the perfect smile is ready for the patient to examine in 3D or even wear to simulate talking, laughing and different facial expressions.

No drilling, numbing or pain is involved during the process and the patient can make an informed choice on the smile they want to achieve. At the second consultation the patient receives advice on a full treatment plan, which could include veneers, crowns and fillings or whitening and orthodontics in the form of clear Invisalign braces. The patient is advised on all procedures, costs and consultations as well as the time line.

During both consultations, photographs and video clips are taken of the patient’s existing and new smile to enable them to compare the before and after looks. These images and videos can be taken home to show family and friends before patients commit to any irreversible modifications.
