The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced that it’s the first authority to date to receive the International Customer Experience Standard (ICXS 2019) certification.

The authority received the certification by the British Standards Institution after meeting rigorous standards and conditions in regards to the customer’s experience through its many initiatives that aim to enhance and simplify the delivery of quality services.

The certification is a testimony of the Authority's continuous efforts to improve its services and to implement Article Five of the Fifty-year Charter, “A Doctor for Every Citizen”.

Commenting on this achievement, H.E Humaid Al Qutami, Director General of the DHA said that the DHA exerts all its capabilities to serve the people of Dubai and provide them with quality services that exceed their expectations and increases their satisfaction and happiness.

He stressed that the health and wellbeing of the community of Dubai is the focus of all the authority’s developmental projects, initiatives and policies.

He added that receiving the certification is an important addition to the many international accreditations received by the authority.

He also said that these certifications reflect the abilities of Dubai in being a leading health provider that is on par with international organizations.

Fatima Abbas, CEO of Strategy and Corporate Development at the DHA said that the adoption of global and local best practices is one of the institutional development tools that DHA relies on to develop its services, modernize communication methods with customers, and diversify programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing customer services.

Dr Farida Al Khaja, CEO of DHA’s Clinical Support Services and Nursing Sector on the other hand said that smart solutions and systems related to service delivery are continuously developed at the authority based on international best practices and after studying all aspects related to customer experience to ensure that they have easy access to services.
