- Game-changing app will redefine the city's property rental market
Dubai, UAE: Rentd, a UK-based company is expanding globally by launching its property rental platform following its successful launch and significant traction within London having over 30,000 users in its first year alone. Whilst the Dubai platform is still going through its final testing phases and ensuring that all licencing and approvals are in place, the company promises that by adapting their proven technology for this market, will change the city's property rental landscape, improving it for both tenants and landlords in line with Dubai’s vision for being a Smart City.
The platform will be available across all platforms, Web, Apple IOS and Android, allowing renters and landlords to conclude the entire rental journey online. Features on the platform include 3D virtual tours of villas and apartments to signing contracts digitally.
"For most, renting is a necessity in Dubai, and for new arrivals it can be a daunting proposition," stated Ahmed Gamal, founder of Rentd. "We're creating a new eco-system in a very old-fashioned property rental market, breaking through barriers which exist in today's landscape and streamlining the cumbersome rental process for future generations to conveniently and effortlessly rent or let a home."
Rentd utilises leading technology, artificial intelligence, and the gig economy in order to streamline the rental process by eliminating the agent. The platform has a direct integration with market leading virtual tour provider Matterport, enhancing viewings by enabling renters to view a property from the palm of their hand. As part of their mission to fully automate the entire journey, Rentd also have affiliations with Uber and Waze, allowing renters to commute to and from their viewings with ease, with the click of a button.
Since the pandemic, contactless has become the buzzword of today, and we've identified that the property market in Dubai lacks a trusted, transparent and contactless technology driven solution for renters and landlords. With Rentd, we aim to make the frustrating process of renting seamless and safe for both parties. With Dubai's diverse and growing population, as well as its uptake of new technologies, we see this as the perfect proving ground for this technology in helping realise a solution with global potential,” concluded Gamal.

About Rentd
Rentd is like no other platform allowing renters and landlords to conclude the entire process of renting or letting a home via an application, with near to no human interaction. Rentd is creating a new eco-system in an old-fashioned market, positioning the user at the focal point of the experience.
London has become a city of renters for generations to come due to the difficulty of buying a home. Millennials rent for nine years on average and over 50% of the capital is in the private rental sector. The government has been trying to create a solution for the amount of fees tenants are paying and Rentd tackles this problem head on prior to any fee bans taking place.
Having launched in London in early 2021, Rentd is already expanding globally and have now entered the Dubai rental market.
