Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development is proud to announce its support for six UAE-based companies at the Dubai International Boat Show 2023. These businesses include Ultra Marine for Ships & Boats Trading, a boat manufacturer; Zarco Contracting & General Maintenance, which specialises in the design, supply, and installation of marine floating dock systems, boat lifts, and marine accessories; Bahara Trading, a swimwear shop; RM Industry, an industrial consultant; Ibhar Smart Marine Management, which specialises in marine management services; and Asateer, a product design studio and production workshop specialising in the creation of handcrafted products. These companies are dedicated to promoting and contributing towards the UAE’s maritime industry, and their participation in the show is a testament to their commitment to innovation, sustainability, and growth.
At the show, the six companies supported by the Khalifa Fund will showcase their latest innovations in boat design, manufacturing, and distribution. These companies represent a diverse range of sectors within the maritime industry, including boat builders, yacht charter companies, and marine equipment suppliers.

The Dubai International Boat Show is one of the most anticipated events in the UAE’s maritime calendar. It is considered one of the fastest-growing exhibitions in the maritime entertainment sector around the world, bringing together boat enthusiasts, industry experts, and key players from around the world to showcase the latest technology and designs in boats, yachts, and marine equipment. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever before, with more than 600 exhibitors from over 50 countries showcasing their products and services.

About Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development
Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development was established in 2007, by the virtue of the Law 14 of 2005 and its amendments, in the implementation of the vision of the late Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Khalifa Fund works as an independent, not-for-profit economic development agency of the Government of Abu Dhabi for the development and support of small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs).
The Fund helps to develop local enterprises in Abu Dhabi through instilling and enriching an investment culture amongst UAE nationals. The Fund also seeks to support and develop SMEs in the Emirate.
Khalifa Fund was founded in 2007 with a total capital of AED 300 million, which gradually increased in 2008 to AED 1 billion, in order to meet the growing demand for the Fund’s services. In 2011, the Fund’s total capital was increase to AED 2 billion, and the Fund covered all of the UAE through a network of branches.
