Dubai, United Arab Emirates:  JAGGAER has confirmed its participation at LEAP, Saudi Arabia’s leading global technology event, where the company will showcase its industry-leading spend management platform and its investment in innovation to support the Saudi Government’s Vision 2030 programme.

Taking place from 6 – 9 February in Riyadh, JAGGAER will be presenting alongside alliance partner KPMG on the third day of the event, with Francesco Colavita, Global Vice President of PreSales Consulting, discussing how the company’s JAGGAER ONE platform is leading the Autonomous Commerce revolution with its self-governing B2B commerce experience leveraging AI and machine learning, intelligent procurement solutions and providing enterprise buyers and suppliers smart-match recommendations that align buyer needs with supplier capabilities.

Kenan Nouwailati, Head of Procurement and Supply Chain at KPMG in Saudi Arabia, said: “As one of the leading professional service providers in the Kingdom with broad international expertise and local knowledge, KPMG is well-positioned to support clients navigate this exciting market.

“This is further compounded by our strategic partnership with JAGGAER. Our deep insights into the business environment, combined with JAGGAER’s market-leading procurement systems, which are simplifying and improving processes, are perfectly aligned to drive business growth and help Saudi Arabia achieve Vision 2030.”

A host of the world’s leading entrepreneurs, investors, tech experts and government stakeholders will be speaking at LEAP, including billionaire venture capital investor Tim Draper, CEO of Nokia Pekka Lundmark, and football legend and tech investor Thierry Henry will showcase the latest cutting-edge technologies and visionary strategies under the theme of ‘Into New Worlds.’

Hany Mosbeh, Senior Vice President, Middle East and Africa, JAGGAER, said: “LEAP provides us with the ideal platform to show Autonomous Commerce to world leaders in the tech sphere. Our offering allows buyers and suppliers to be fully interactable on a single global network, with credentials in place, catalogued, and ready to do business. Smart-match recommendations align buyers' needs and supplier capabilities, weighing product specifications, price, service levels, risk, environmental, social, and governance objectives.

“As the name suggests, Autonomous Commerce autonomously executes repetitive tasks using intelligent solutions. This mitigates talent shortages and allows employees to focus on more strategic, value-added activities.

“Using artificial intelligence (AI), bottlenecks are eliminated, cycle times are improved, and costs are reduced by constantly monitoring and analysing all transaction activity – another clear benefit of this innovative online business marketplace.”

Saudi Arabia has outlined a bold diversification plan in recent years to transition away from its dependence on petrochemical revenues and towards a more diversified and sustainable economy with technology and innovation at its core.

At the inaugural LEAP event last year, it was announced that Saudi Arabia will spend US$24.7 billion on technology by 2025, reportedly the world's highest government spending on technology. US$6.4 billion is being invested in future technologies and startups.

Supporting Saudi Arabia’s drive within the tech sector, JAGGAER recently expanded its offering by launching a new JAGGAER Arabia office in Riyadh to align and support the country’s vision for a smart economy. A dedicated team supports Saudi companies to overcome the challenges surrounding supply chain disruptions, material scarcity and global talent shortages as part of its Autonomous Commerce offering.

“The growth of technology has grown incredibly in Saudi Arabia in recent years, and this trajectory will undoubtedly continue for many years. As such, JAGGAER Arabia is committed to supporting the delivery of the country’s vision with Autonomous Commerce playing an integral in this,” concluded Hany.

With over five million global suppliers on its Enterprise Commerce Network and US$500 billion worth of goods flowing through its network, JAGGAER provides enterprise buyers access to a myriad of sources of supply that are tightly aligned with their specific needs.
