Dubai: Alliance Traffic Systems, an Abu Dhabi-based provider of intelligent transportation systems (ITS), has been named the Silver winner of the prestigious Stevie Award for Technical Innovation of the Year, at the 19th Annual International Business Awards ceremony held in London recently.

While UAE governmental entities have been selected for this year's awards, Alliance Traffic is the only private company from the United Arab Emirates to win the coveted honour this year. Alliance received the award in the category of 'Organizations with up to 100 Employees', for two innovative solutions developed by the company – PEDESAFE "Smart Pedestrian Safety System" and Solar Intelligent Enforcement Radar ISER – which received high average scores from the judges, eventually securing the award in the Silver category.

Founded in 2009, Alliance Traffic has in short order acquired a reputation for its innovative solutions in intelligent transportation systems, traffic management systems and smart enforcement and security solutions.
