Chocolate fair or “Čokoljana” will be held in Ljubljana for the sixth year in a row on October 19. The fair is attracting all chocolate lovers from all around the Globe and it is welcoming chocolate lovers and enthusiasts from the Middle East this year.
“Čokoljana” is a fair that is turning the beautiful capital of Ljubljana into a sweet center of chocolate.
Visitors will find different types and recipes of chocolates to eat and drink, available from the fancy chocolate makers. It is a must-visit event for chocolate lovers who cannot imagine taking their hot morning coffee without a bar of chocolate. Also, visitors will find information about the advantages and disadvantages of the magical taste of chocolates.
This exhibition is characterized by the fact that chocolate manufacturers create unique forms of chocolate such as hand tools, household items, Chocolate paintings and many more. The chocolate world is much more precious than most people imagine. Any chocolate lover will find something for himself on that delicious fair.
More than 49 chocolate producers from Slovenia and Europe will showcase their traditional recipes, as well as their latest innovations in the delicious industry, including manufacturers for organic chocolate & sugar-free chocolate, visitors will experience a mixture of chocolates with the highest quality dried fruits, nuts and spices that represent the Slovenian regions.
It is worth mentioning that this festival is one of several festivals held annually in the cities of Slovenia to display delicious chocolate, like the Chocolate Festival held in Radovljica city on the second weekend of April each year where chocolate treats attract tens of thousands of visitors and exciting events for all generations are held in the three festival days – from workshops for children and cooking shows to a chocolate fashion show.
Chocolate lovers can taste sweet treats, including chocolate, at the Sweet Istria Festival on the coast at the end of September. To add variety to cold autumn days, they can join the events of the Gourmet Gastronomic Festival in Ljubljana, where they will have the opportunity to enjoy chocolate since the love of chocolate is part of the Slovenian culture.
