Andrew Robinson, Managing Director of Dubai-based Boomer Industries, has today announced the signing of a new supply agreement with New Zealand manufacturing firm, FrameCad. The contract provides Boomer Industries and FrameCad with an exclusive partnership for the supply of extruded plastic products in Australasia. FrameCad will incorporate Boomer's plastic products as part of its materials offering within its pre-fabricated housing and office buildings.

FrameCad's Chief Executive, Mark Taylor commented: "Boomer Industries is a great partner for FrameCad, they bring to the market a set of high quality, quick assembly PVC construction materials which add value to FrameCad's service in terms of flexibility and time saving capacity. We have worked closely with the Boomer team during the last nine months to ensure a solid agreement that will impact the market with breadth of range, and imaginative construction solutions."

"Australia, New Zealand, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Afghanistan, and the Pacific islands, are just some of the exclusive territories covered by the agreement," said Andrew Robinson. "This distribution range opens new markets for Boomer Industries, both in terms of geography and sector. FrameCad are partners with an excellent track record, prominent in the on-site and off-site construction sector; their focus on the high volume market for fast assembly buildings matches a key component of the Boomer product and service portfolio."

Congratulating Boomer Industries and FrameCad, at Boomer's Northern Ireland Head Office, New Zealand Honorary Consul, Margaret Lee, said: "This agreement testifies to the strong relationship between Northern Ireland and New Zealand. As New Zealand regains its stride after the recession, we are pleased to see these companies have been preparing emphatically for the recovery, working ahead of time to ensure that new opportunities can be maximised in the Australasian market. This new agreement is a beacon to signal the New Zealand is open for business and a stepping stone into markets often difficult for NI firms to access."

Andrew Robinson added: "We have achieved this breakthrough with the continued assistance of Ulster Bank, and ongoing marketing support from Invest NI. These partnerships have provided strength, flexibility and expertise for Boomer throughout the global downturn, and we are doubly pleased to see that their sustained interest in Boomer continues to provide positive outcomes as the global outlook improves. Throughout forty years in Northern Ireland, export has always been the key to Boomer's success; Ulster Bank and Invest NI have clearly understood that export remains the avenue for the focus and success of Boomer's future campaigns."
