The Boecker® SCC™ certification programme will provide the educational facilities with new global standards in health protection for children
Dubai - Boecker®, the Middle East’s leading public health company, has today announced a groundbreaking agreement with Kids First Group nurseries to implement the Safe ChildCareTM (SCCTM). Kids First Group nurseries are the first to adopt and implement the SCCTM programme in the United Arab Emirates, paving the way for increased attention and dedication to the well-being of children.
It reflects the group’s leading position and unwavering commitment to delivering the highest quality standards and protection for children.
The Safe ChildCareTM is an international certification programme fully designed by Boecker® and endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) in the UK, renowned for being the most influential awarding body in environmental health worldwide. The certification applies to pre-schools, kindergartens, day cares and nurseries and aims at assisting and guiding child care facilities through applying the best international practices that cover the elimination of germs and common infections, children’s health and safety inside the nursery, food safety, and bio-hazards that could be found inside the child care facilities.
Under this agreement, Boecker® will deliver regular audits to assess the nurseries’ compliance against management system, health and safety requirements and hygiene matters inside the nursery’s premises. It will provide as well relevant KHDA Approved trainings for childcare practitioners and parents’ awareness sessions in addition to disinfecting treatments through a year-round Infection Control Plan™ to ensure a germ-free environment. The annual certification is intended to make Kids First Group fully compliant with international standards and achieve a high level of proficiency in protecting the children’s health, safety and ensuring their proper development.
