Documents management company to be merged into InfoFort to create regional giant

Dubai, November 14, 2006: ARAMEX (DFM: ARMX), the leading total transportation solutions provider, today announced its AED 15 million acquisition of Docman Limited, a Dubai-based documents and records storage, scanning and management specialist. The addition to its growing documents management business marks the latest stage in ARAMEX's rollout of its acquisitions strategy.

The new acquisition will be teamed with InfoFort, ARAMEX's regional market leading wholly-owned document records management company that was acquired last year. The move will consolidate InfoFort's position as the only premier documents storage and management enterprise in the region and offers synergies with its core business and markets. The addition of Docman's focus on energy and finance sectors will extend InfoFort's product range and customer base.

Georges Harfouche, Managing Director of InfoFort, said: "We expect the merger with Docman to increase our profitability. Docman will be fully merged into InfoFort and we expect continued growth in the business."

Docman, whose record-management operation is focused on the UAE, offers services such as document storage, scanning, on-site facility document management, and management of post-dated cheques on behalf of banks.
