eMarketing Egypt launches a package of training programs in cooperation with technology innovation and entrepreneurship center
The 7th Annual Report for internet usage analysis has illustrated the interest of 79% Egyptian users in online ads with trust ratio exceeded 26%, as the IT sector ranked first at confidence indicator with 52%, followed by the telecommunications sector with 46%, then entertainment sector, and Home Appliances Ranked last” States Mr. Ahmad Nagy, Managing Director & Co-founder of eMarketing Egypt.“This analysis is clearly reflecting the future strategy features of the e-marketing industry in the Arab world regarding human expertise and technical tools usage aligning with global trends, and that the Egyptian market has a huge opportunity to become a regional center for exporting e-marketing services across the region with a package of competitive advantages” Mr. Nagy adds.
Opportunities and challenges
“We recognize the importance of monitoring challenges that hinder our vision towards becoming the regional e-marketing center in the Arab world.
The challenge is represented in many fundamental problems and most prominent one of them is the absence of Arab social networks that would compete with global search engine platforms to maximize local and Arab economic returns of modern marketing methods usages. The importance of social networking is clearly reflect in users turning to modern trends and tools in communication and connecting, as according to the latest analysis of Internet usages and habits, 72% of users have difficulty to dispense internet, and 73% of them follow Facebook-the first social networking platform in Egypt, to get the newest information, follow up news and updates” Mr. Nagy adds.
“The increasing of online advertising prices in Egypt and Arab world across various social networks and websites is due to the obligation to pay in foreign currencies and not local currency to each country." Mr. Nagy confirms
In a related context, the Managing Director & Co-founder of e-Marketing Egypt called for the necessity of optimizing opportunities utilization to reinforce the Egyptian leadership and emphasize its pivotal role in achieving the regional leap that illustrates the growth and development map within the digital industry in the Arab world. Mr.Nagy Explains that the growth in brands' turning to online marketing tools usage is aligning with the increasing demand for mastering e-marketing tools among Egyptian cadres, besides the rise of e-marketing agencies that provides statistics and reports which monitoring and analyzing users habits, usages and the spending volume of the industry that is reflecting clearly on the transparency and credibility indicators in e-marketing sector.

Also Mr. Nagy confirms that Egypt is highly qualified to become a regional hub in the Arab world for the e-marketing industry, on condition providing a number of preliminaries, most notably raising investments specified for the training of human cadres on the latest technologies, tools and global trends. Improving efficiency, quality, and performance of infrastructure and Internet speeds are also one of the important pillars for the transformation, besides focusing on promoting Arab investments in digital platforms to meet requirements of users locally, regionally and globally.
It is noted that eMarketing Egypt will announce a new package of programs and initiatives to support the digital industry in Egypt during its annual conference to issue its eighth annual that will be held on the 4th.
The programs that aim to qualify professionals will be held in cooperation with technology innovation and entrepreneurship center affiliated to the Ministry Of Communication & Information Technology to provide specialized technical advice to small and medium-sized enterprises.
