Turkey is considering raising its electricity and natural gas prices as early as this month, Bloomberg News reported on Friday, amid rising global energy prices spurred by the war in the Middle East.
Turkey's sliding-scale system for fuel prices is not sustainable if high oil prices persist, as it is a burden on the budget, the nation's finance minister Mehmet Simsek said in March.
