Award-winning Chef de Cuisine takes up helm at Riyadh's top fine dining restaurant; introduces new seasonal menus

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 28 November 2012: Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel in Riyadh, announced the appointment of two senior positions for the most prestigious dining destination in the Kingdom, The Globe Restaurant.   

Award-winning master chef, Marius Ackermann brings a new level of culinary mastery to The Globe Restaurant having enjoyed more than 12 years in a number of top Michelin-starred restaurants in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the UK.

Unveiling new lunch, dinner and seasonal menus for the fine-dining restaurant, Chef Ackerman introduces the freshest gourmet ingredients and innovative flavour combinations to the extensive range of dishes on offer. The latest "top-to-tail" epicurean trend taking the world by storm is included in Ackermann's debut seasonal menu with a series of gourmet dishes incorporating the renowned South Australian Gippsland lamb.

Themis Kouris has been appointed as Manager of The Globe Restaurant. Themis brings a wealth of knowledge to Al Faisaliah Hotel, with more than 13 years of hospitality experience in Greece, England, Hong Kong, Egypt, China and Maldives. Themis will be responsible for ensuring The Globe Restaurant offers luxury, prestige and world class hospitality and service.
